The Quick Ship Highlander in two standard sizes is a traditional design fireplace wood mantel favorite with rosettes in the top corners. This mantel has rosettes and dentil molding adding to its colonial character. Paint grade mantels are a combination of MDF and solid poplar moldings and all mantels now have a raised up protective top trim. All stain grade mantels are made from a combination of hardwoods and veneers. Paint grade product is made from solid poplar moldings and MDF which can be primed and painted.

We ordered a custom size and the process went smoothly with good communication and verification from Mantlecraft staff. Our Cherry Mantle with Golden Honey Stain was delivered on time in perfect shape and installed easily. It was a beautiful Outlander moment when we fired her up for the first time!

The mantel is beautiful and easy to put together. If you like Mission style home decor, but don't want to spend the extra money for a true Mission mantel, this one works very well, especially with the Merlot stain.
