Precise Mantel Opening Width
Equals Facing Width less (minimum) 1"

Precise Mantel Opening Height
Equals Facing Height less (minimum) 1/2"

Precise Mantel Return
Equals Facing Thickness plus (minimum) 1/2"

(Note: Our mantels are designed to overlap the outside edges of the facing. Make alterations to your facing prior to measuring.)
